Please understand that while this is not a popular browser (Edge) - it will allow you to continue to service the St Jude campaign AND should reduce the number of issues you have been experiencing.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make the switch and give Edge a try before considering dropping the campaign.
St Jude Children's Research Hospital is such a wonderful campaign that does so much for those in need.
SJ/Edge Clarification/Update
Updated to remove Chrome option – If you want to work SJ you will need to use Edge.
We apologize for any confusion. We too are trying to get everything figured out so that we can successfully take SJ calls.
Please make sure that you are not on shift when making changes
Anyone who would like to remain in the SJ skill will need to use Edge.
Chrome may work for you now, but once updated the errors may begin.
Due to this, we are asking those with SJ to switch to Edge.
You cannot use both Edge and Chrome when taking calls.
1st. Please make sure that you have made Edge your default browser
2nd Be sure you have all updates, if you do not have the most recent version of Edge, you may receive an error that Max is not compatible with your browser.
How to update Edge:
To manually grab updates for the new Microsoft Edge, head click the Options (three dots) button in the upper-right corner.
Then go to Help and feedback > About Microsoft Edge.
If an update is available, it will start downloading automatically.
Then you will need to restart the browser to complete the update process.
Please Note: If an update is automatically available, you’ll see a small green or orange arrow notification on the Options button. In that case, all you need to do is restart the browser to get the latest updates.
If you have SJ, you will use Edge for all calls.
If you choose to be removed from the SJ skill, you could then use Chrome.
